Installing Siding On Sip Panels

Give the panels plenty of support and don t let them sag for 8 foot panels two stickers are enough but for 12 to 16 foot panels use three stickers.

Installing siding on sip panels.

Sip homes are built every day and every single sip home has siding. The panels slip over a wall plate which needs to be set half an inch from the building edge to ensure that the panels are fully supported. Typical installation is done with galvanized ring shank nails. Sips need to be fully supported during installation.
